Set along the stunning trails of West Park and the McNary Wildlife Nature Area, this course delivers peaceful river views, wide-open skies, and a refreshing escape into nature right along the Columbia River.
Whether you’re chasing a PR or walking with family, this event is all about community, movement, and making a difference. Every step you take helps raise funds for the Providence Cancer Institute as part of our FinishCancer Hood to Coast team — supporting cancer research, treatment, and patient care.
And once you cross the finish line? The fun is just getting started.
We’re turning race morning into a full-on celebration with a live DJ, local vendors, games, and plenty of good vibes. Stick around, hang out, and enjoy the energy with friends, family, and fellow runners.

Course Details
Free Family 1 Mile!
Although our 5K and 10K courses are beautiful they are not very stroller friendly. We did not want to forget about our growing families with kiddos in strollers! This FREE 1 mile is all paved and will give you a little sneak peak into the nature trails! You get to see some of the ponds without having to turn your stroller 4x4 on! This is also perfect for families that do not want to do a full 5K or 10K but want to support their loved ones. If you time it right you might be able to see some runners passing through!
5K Course
The 5K follows a scenic route through West Park and surrounding nature trails, offering beautiful views of the Columbia River. This course is mainly trail. Expect uneven surfaces. Dont let that distract you from scenic ponds, river views and wildlife all around!
10K Course
The 10K has a bit of a twist. Why not run across the beautiful Columbia River to our friendly neighboring state of Washington! Thats right, this 10K route will cross the bridge into WA and back! A very unique experience that you wont want to miss out! It’s peaceful, refreshing, and just the right amount of challenge. This route is mix of trail and pavement.
